Accompanied by camels, your journey commences in the early morning from Foum Zguid, culminating in an evening return filled with indelible memories.

Embark on a single-day desert trek to Lake Iriki and the Chegaga desert, commencing from Foum Zguid. This adventure involves trekking through Sahara dunes, starting from Foum Zguid and circling around the Chegaga dunes.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Commencing early from Foum Zguid, your Chegaga Sahara adventure begins, exploring the sand dunes and the enchanting landscape of Lake Iriki. Guided by nomads and accompanied by camels, you'll return to Foum Zguid the same evening.

Itinerary for One Day Desert Trekking at Lake Iriki and Chegaga Desert Departure from Foum Zguid:

Day 1: BEGINNER TREKKING FOUM ZGUID - LAKE IRIKI - CHEGAGA DUNES - ERG ELGHOUL - BIVOUAC LES NOMADES

Embark on this one-day trek from Foum Zguid in the early morning, traveling in a 4x4 vehicle. Your desert guide will pick you up at your hotel or camping site in Foum Zguid.

Meet the camel team at the majestic Erg Elghoul dune, one of the Sahara's most beautiful. Traverse Lake Iriki amidst the dunes, heading towards Bivouac les Nomades, where your beginner desert trek concludes.

The walking time is approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, with a rest break in the middle. At the desert camp, the 4x4 car will be ready to transport you back to Foum Zguid in the evening.

Feel free to extend your stay at Bivouac les Nomades for one or more nights-just inform us before departing from Foum Zguid.
