Full Itinerary of the Four-Day Sahara Trek to a Natural Desert Swimming Pool:

Day 1: FOUM ZGUID TO BIVOUAC LES NOMADES DESERT CAMP

Have you ever heard or seen that there are swimming pools in the desert? There are! Don't miss this opportunity to explore something truly different in the desert. We will pick you up with a 4x4 car and transport you to Bivouac Les Nomades. After reaching our desert camp amidst the dunes of Lake Iriki, on the south side of the prominent dune called Erg Elmhazil, you will spend a delightful night in the authentic desert camp, constructed by the Nomads of the desert in Foum Zguid. Enjoy the magical sunset from the top of the large dunes of Lake Iriki. What makes this sunset so special is the combination of endless waves of sand dunes, the view of the dry Lake Iriki, and the mountains of Jebel Bani.

DAY 2: FROM BIVOUAC LES NOMADES TO THE VOLCANIC MOUNTAIN

Embark with the camels towards the volcanic mountain, where you will experience a unique day in the desert swimming pool. This is one of the most astonishing experiences you can have in the desert. There is nothing better than watching the sunset from the lofty volcanic mountain (Gelb Jmel); the nomads refer to this mountain as the Camel Heart Mountain. You will also observe how the nomads survive in the desert, baking bread, and caring for the camels. At night, sleep in a small tent or outside under the stars with the clear Milky Way above you.

DAY 3: VOLCANIC MOUNTAIN TO THE VILLAGE OF ZAWIAT SIDI ABD ENBI

The following morning, after breakfast, stroll towards the stone paintings. These ancient and rare paintings provide insight into the history of the desert. Afterward, we will continue our desert trek to the paradise oasis and spend the night in the village of Zawiat Sidi Abd Enbi in a traditional clay house.

DAY 4: FROM THE VILLAGE OF ZAWIAT SIDI ABD ENBI BACK TO FOUM ZGUID

The next morning, enjoy the final breakfast of our desert trekking tour. Your 4x4 car will be ready to safely return you to Foum Zguid. Once back in Foum Zguid, take the opportunity to explore the old Kasbah of Oumhansh.
