Foum Zguid And Erg Chegaga 3 Days

Day 1: Foum Zguid - Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi - La petite maison du lac Iriki guest house

Early afternoon departure from Foum Zguid by 4x4, crossing the desert plains with a stop at a prehistoric fossil site.
Arrival at the guesthouse 60 km from Foum Zguid, where you'll be welcomed with a cup of tea and watch the sun set over the desert.
Enjoy a convivial dinner around the fire, and chat about nomadic life.

Day 2: Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi - Erg Chegaga

Open-air breakfast followed by a visit to the Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi oasis to learn about local agriculture and the history of the village.
Return home for a typical lunch prepared with fresh local produce.
Departure by 4x4 for Erg Chegaga, crossing the plains of the dry Iriki lake and the first tamarisk-lined dunes.
On arrival at the Erg Chegaga bivouac, camel ride at sunset to admire the highest dunes in Morocco.
Dinner around the fire or in the restaurant tent, followed by a musical evening under the stars.
Overnight in large traditional tents.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga - Iriki dry lake - Foum Zguid

Sunrise observation from the dunes, morning walk to appreciate the quietness of the desert.
Return by 4x4 to Foum Zguid, crossing the plains of the Iriki dry lake with stops to photograph the panoramas.
