Day 1: Arrival in Foum Zguid & Desert Immersion
Your adventure begins upon arrival in Foum Zguid. After a warm welcome, you will park your car in a safe place and take a 4×4 into the desert. We will follow the off-road route of the famous Dakar Rally, passing through the Tajine Mountains and visiting a fascinating site rich with fossils. Upon reaching Erg Chegaga, you will check into your cozy camp. As the sun begins to set, you’ll have the opportunity for a classic camel ride to see the sunset from the top of the dunes. After returning to camp, you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and music around a campfire.

Day 2: The Heart of Nomadic Culture
Today is dedicated to discovering the tradition and culture of the nomadic people. You will meet local residents and spend time learning about their way of life and the customs that have shaped their community for generations. In the evening, you will be a guest for a traditional Moroccan dinner prepared by a local family, savoring authentic dishes like tagine and freshly baked bread while sharing stories. As the sun sets, a traditional nomadic music performance will showcase the lively sounds of Berber music and dance, allowing you to celebrate the vibrant culture that is integral to the identity of the Berber people.

Day 3: Nature & Heritage Hike
On your third day, embark on a guided hike through the breathtaking dunes surrounding Erg Chegaga.
