Day 1: Taghazout/Agadir → Foum Zguid → Lake Iriki

Your desert adventure begins with an early departure at 8:00 AM from your hotel in Taghazout or Agadir. We’ll journey east through a tapestry of landscapes, making our first stop in Taroudant, a historic city known as “Little Marrakech.” Our journey continues through Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital, where you’ll enjoy a cup of traditional saffron tea. Next, we visit Taznakht, a hub for intricate handwoven Berber carpets. We’ll arrive in the small village of Foum Zguid, the “gateway to the Sahara,” for a delicious lunch and a visit to the old Kasbah of Oum Hench. After lunch, our 4×4 will take you onto the legendary Paris-Dakar rally piste, a thrilling off-road journey to the remote dunes of Lake Iriki. You’ll arrive at Bivouac Les Nomades just in time for a breathtaking sunset, followed by a traditional dinner and music around a campfire.

Day 2: Lake Iriki → Foum Zguid → Agadir

Awake in the serene silence of the desert. After a refreshing breakfast, you’ll have a final opportunity to soak in the incredible landscape of the Erg Chegaga dunes. We’ll then take the off-road track back to Foum Zguid, where the desert adventure concludes. From there, your comfortable transport will take you on a scenic drive back to either Agadir or Marrakech, arriving in the afternoon with memories that will last a lifetime.
