Day 1:Day 1: Foum Zguid → Lake Iriki → Erg Elmhazil Dunes

Our adventure begins in the early afternoon, departing from the quiet town of Foum Zguid and heading into the heart of the desert. As we travel, you will pass the Tajine Mountains and stop to explore the Elagermia Oases, where the lush greenery offers a stunning contrast to the surrounding arid environment. Continuing our journey, we will explore ancient fossils that tell the story of the desert’s distant past. Our route then takes us across the dry lakebed of Lake Iriki, a vast and hauntingly beautiful landscape. In the late afternoon, we reach our destination: the towering Erg Elmhazil Dunes. After a welcoming tea, you will settle into our private desert camp. The night is spent in absolute serenity under the starlit sky, surrounded only by the peace and quiet of the desert.

Day 2: Erg Elmhazil Dunes → Return to Foum Zguid
The day begins as you wake to the soft glow of sunrise over the dunes, followed by a delicious breakfast in the quiet desert atmosphere. We then begin our journey back to Foum Zguid, taking a slightly different route to ensure you experience more of the desert’s natural beauty and the changing colours of the landscape. We will arrive back in Foum Zguid in the late afternoon, concluding your unforgettable Sahara adventure.
