Day 1: Fès to Merzouga Desert
Your desert tour from Fès begins as you depart south towards the Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” for its unique alpine architecture. We’ll continue through cedar forests and Berber villages, stopping in Midelt for a taste of its famous apples and fossils. Our journey culminates in Merzouga, where you’ll begin a thrilling camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. The night will be spent at a desert camp, enjoying a traditional dinner under a sky full of stars.

Day 2: Merzouga to Ouarzazate
Wake up early to witness a stunning Sahara sunrise before returning to the village. We’ll then drive west towards Ouarzazate, passing through the dramatic Todra and Dades Gorges. We’ll explore the towering canyon walls of the Todra Gorge, a popular destination for hikers and rock climbers. Our day ends in Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” where we’ll spend the night in a local riad.

Day 3: Ouarzazate & Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech
The day begins with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a beautifully preserved fortified village and a famous location for films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. You’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views and explore its ancient streets. We then travel through the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, stopping at scenic viewpoints. The tour concludes upon arrival in Marrakech.
