Day 1: Marrakech → Erg Chegaga

Your Marrakech desert adventure begins early with a private 4×4 departure. We will journey south, crossing the dramatic High Atlas Mountains and passing through Taznakht, the renowned Moroccan capital of carpet production. Continuing to Foum Zguid, the authentic gateway to the Sahara, you will finally arrive at the magnificent dunes of Erg Chegaga. After a sunset camel ride, spend the night in a traditional desert camp, enjoying a Berber dinner and music around a campfire.

Day 2: Day 2: Erg Chegaga → Zagora

Wake up to a breathtaking desert sunrise and enjoy a short camel ride before breakfast. We will then travel by 4×4 towards Mahamid elghizlane, stopping to visit a nomad tent and a tranquil oasis along the way. After lunch in the town, we’ll continue to Tamgroute to visit its historic Quranic school and an ancient Jewish kasbah before arriving in Zagora. You will spend the night in a comfortable, traditional riad.

Day 3: Zagora → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech
On your final day, we depart for Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous film studios. The journey continues to the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Ben Haddou, a stunning fortified village where you’ll enjoy lunch and explore the site. In the afternoon, we will begin our scenic return to Marrakech, crossing the Atlas Mountains one last time to conclude your memorable 3-day desert tour.
