Day 1: Marrakech → Zagora → Elghoula

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Marrakech to Zagora. From there, our expert team will transfer you via 4×4 to the starting point of your camel trekking in the Jabel Bani mountains. We’ll cross the “mouth” of the mountain pass, known as Elghoula, and set up our first camp amidst the fascinating prehistoric rock paintings in Elfayja, a perfect site for history enthusiasts and researchers.

Day 2: Elfayja → Zawiat Elmhasser

After a day of discovery and a traditional Berber breakfast, we trek south towards the stunning Zawiat Elmhasser oasis. This secluded paradise offers a chance to experience the solitude of the desert and witness a side of the Sahara few travelers ever see.

Day 3: Day 3: Zawiat Elmhasser → Geltat Elmsafi
We continue our camel trek south, following the ancient valley routes to a beautiful guelta in the heart of the mountains. This natural desert pool is a true hidden gem. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to swim and explore ancient nomadic ruins that tell the stories of a bygone era.

Day 4: Day 4: Geltat Elmsafi → Erg Chegaga

Today is a highlight of your Sahara tour. We start early to cross the final mountain range, where the immense Erg Chegaga dunes appear on the horizon. We’ll spend our last desert night in an authentic Bedouin camp, celebrating your journey with traditional Berber music and storytelling around a blazing campfire.

Day 5: Erg Chegaga → Foum Zguid → Marrakech

After a final breakfast in the desert, our 4×4 will take you from Erg Chegaga to Foum Zguid, crossing the dry bed of Lake Iriki and the iconic Tajine Mountains. Upon reaching Foum Zguid, you’ll join a comfortable transport back to Marrakech or Agadir, filled with incredible memories of your Moroccan desert expedition.
